EMULSIFIABLE CONCETRATE FORMULATIONS OF CHLOROACETAMIDE AND HPPD INHIBITOR HERBICIDES

Emulsifiable concentrate preparations of HPPD inhibitor herbicides such as mesotrione in agriculturally acceptable solvents are disclosed. Carbonyl containing solvents such as alkylene carbonates are useful for dissolving such herbicides, along with other active ingredients such as anilide or chloracetamide herbicides, for example metolachlor. Such solvents enable preparation of emulsifiable concentrates of metolachlor and mesotrione that are stable over long periods of time at ambient temperatures.
