PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-cabin situation observation device with a relatively simple and low-cost structure that can precisely observe an occupant's movement in a cabin with excellent responsiveness and thus can promptly detect the occupant's dangerous movement without fail beforehand to call attention to the occupant and to avoid a vehicle's dangerous start operation without the occupant's movement considered, thus achieving safe drive.SOLUTION: In an in-cabin situation observation device 100 that observes a measuring object's movement in a cabin, a two-output CW Doppler sensor 110 is provided that detects the measuring object's movement speed using the Doppler effect and determines the direction of the measuring object's movement from a phase difference of the two outputs, thus enabling observation of the measuring object's movement in the cabin of the vehicle 200. |
