A liquid crystal display device and a control system thereof. The control system comprises a power supply module, a control circuit board, and a scalar circuit board. The scalar circuit board comprises a scalar module and a first low-voltage linear regulator, and a first step-down module providing power to the scalar module and to the first low-voltage linear regulator. The power supply module outputs a 5V voltage to provide power respectively to the control circuit board and to the first step-down module.
