PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide systems and methods which resolve problems of current automated packaging solutions designed for medium to high volumes not allowing easy variation of physical properties of individual packages during distribution of products, and which may also provide additional benefits.SOLUTION: A personalized package creation system uses an imaging device to capture an image of a barcode. An image capture module decodes the barcode to retrieve data, such as package dimension data and one or more package structural parameters. Based on the package dimensions and the structural parameters, a processing device defines a set of cutting instructions. An automated package creation device applies the cutting instructions and uses a cutting device to create a package. |
