PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a webbing winder having a simple constitution for resolving the connection between a motor and a spool, without reversely driving the motor.SOLUTION: A torsion coil spring 130 between a ratchet gear 114 and an adapter 116 is elastically deformed so that winding fastening loosens in a state of rotating a spool 18 in the winding direction by driving force of the motor 40. When stopping the motor 40 in this state, the torsion coil spring 130 tries to be restored to an original shape, and the locking piece 132 side of the torsion coil spring 130 relatively rotates in the pulling-out direction to the opposite side of a locking piece 132. Thus, the locking piece 132 of the torsion coil spring 130 presses a locking groove 134 of the ratchet gear 114 in the pulling-out direction, and rotates the ratchet gear 114 in the pulling-out direction, and separates a connection bowl 110 from an interference part 152 of an interference piece 140. Thus, the mechanical connection between an input gear 92 and the ratchet gear 114 via the connection bowl 110 is released. |
