PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat cooker capable of safely opening a lid during the cooking operation in the heat cooker having a lid opened and closed to a body part storing a material to be heated.SOLUTION: A rice cooker as a heat cooker includes: a body part capable of storing a material to be heated in the interior; a lid body openably and closably fitted to the body part; a lock mechanism controlled to lock and unlock by a control part for locking the close state to the body part of the lid body; and a member disposed in the interior of the body part to cause the control part to drive in the process of executing the cooking sequence. The control part executes the processing (S103, S105) of locking the lock mechanism in the process of executing the cooking sequence, ending the cooking sequence and ending the drive of the member on receiving an instruction for the end of the cooking sequence in the operating part within a predetermined period after the end of the cooking sequence (YES in S101), and releasing the locking mechanism after the completion of the processing (S107, S111). |
