The present invention relates to a system for washing a tank which is mounted on a vehicle, and comprises: a tank main body which stores contents in a liquid shape; a pump which is installed at one part of the tank; a washing unit which is installed on the ceiling of the tank main body, is connected with the pump in order to spray washing water to the inner surface of the tank main body; a discharging unit which is installed in the lower part of the tank main body in order to discharge the washing water; and a control unit which controls the pump. The purpose of the improved tank system is to automatically wash the inner surface of the tank main body by operating the pump. Therefore, the improved tank system can easily remove foreign materials with high viscosity attached to the inner side of the tank main body, can automatically calculate the weight or volume of the contents stored inside the tank main body, and can prevent safety accidents due to toxic gas by automatically washing the weight sensors which are installed in the tank and on the bottom of the tank.
