PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shade-holding implement for lamp bulb replacements, the shade-holding implement sandwiching the shade of a lamp bulb in a manner that keeps the shade still, and further sandwiching the lamp bulb with the sandwiching part provided on the uppermost end of the operative pole of a bulb replacing tool so that the bulb can be kept together with the shade, in a case where a shade covered over a lamp bulb is attached to a cord or chain or the like suspended from a beam, girder, or the like of a building. SOLUTION: The shade-holding implement for lamp bulb replacements includes a long operation body 1 and a sandwiching arm 2 composed of a pair of arm bodies 2a to be provided on the uppermost end of the operation body 1, while the pair of arm bodies 2a of the sandwiching arm 2 are designed to sandwich the shade S of the lamp bulb B in a manner that does not cause the shade to move. The remote operation, from the lowest end side of the operation body 1, of an operative linear body 3 connected to one of the pair of arm bodies 2a allows the shade S to be sandwiched or released from being sandwiched.
