The brake has a brake disk assembly (1), an adapter (10) and a brake disk (20), where the adapter comprises an inner toothing (11) for non-rotatable connection with a wheel hub of a handlebar-guided vehicle. A driver (12) enables a twist connection with the brake disk. The brake disk assembly comprises a connecting link (30) for captive connection of the brake disk with the adapter. The brake disk is arranged between the adaptor and the connecting link. The connecting link comprises a fuse element (32) and fastened with the brake disk assembly at the wheel hub.
