The present invention provides a hand held shower head with a filter replacing pre-alarm device. The hand held shower head with a filter replacing pre-alarm device is formed on a rear side of a shower head shell and includes a round recess socket having a detachable alerting pod. A signal circuit device is inserted into an alerting pod to have measurement and display functions. The alerting pod is inserted into a recess socket to the have measurement and display functions or is detached from the recess socket to charge a battery. Therefore, the shower head shell can appropriately receive electric power. And the alerting pod can be detached to the outside of the shower head shell to autonomously charge the battery, so that there is no need to replace or remove the entire shower head shell although DC power supply is exhausted in the signal circuit device. Therefore, the hand held shower head with a filter replacing pre-alarm device can prevent resource waste and can save economic costs caused by the frequent replacement of the shower head.
