PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device which can determine whether power input interruption is caused by a power failure or device detachment. SOLUTION: The electronic device includes: a power terminal, a power monitor switch; a power interruption detection part; and a power interruption/device detachment determination part; and is structured such that the power interruption/device detachment determination part receives a signal from the power interruption detection part and a signal from the power monitor switch to determine whether power input interruption is caused by a power failure or device detachment, and outputs a determination signal thereof.
