The present invention relates to a system and a method for collecting and storing static electrical energy in the atmosphere. The system according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a control station; an energy collector including a moving body; a collection unit; and a storage module. The control station is wirelessly communicated with the energy collector in order to control movements of the energy collector. The collection unit is mounted on the surface of the moving body in order to collect the static electricity energy in the atmosphere. The storage module is located inside the moving body and includes one or more magnetic capacitors.
