<p>The invention relates to a method for producing a continuous module for a paper machine covering, in particular press felt, consisting of the following steps: a) a support layer (10) is provided, b) a plurality of stabilisation threads (14) extending essentially parallel to each other are fixed to a first side (12) of the support layer (10) by stitch bonding, c) the support layer (10) is formed such that it is continuous, one side (12) of the support layer being fixed with stabilisation threads (14), in such a manner that the end sections (24, 26) of the support layer (10) are adjacent or/and overlap each other, d) the end areas (24, 26) are joined together to form a continuous structure layer (22).</p> |
