PURPOSE: A catchment facility and a construction method thereof are provided to suppress the generations of cracks on a concrete structure during vibration according to an internal sound wave of water or an earthquake. CONSTITUTION: A catchment facility(1) comprises a base unit(10) and a wall unit(20). The wall unit comprises a first and a second curing layer(23,26), a first and a second adhesive material(24,27), a fiber reinforcing layer(25), and a waterproof sheet(28). The fiber reinforcing layer is a fiber mesh layer manufactured by weaving a fiber of jute material. The fiber of the jute material is cut to a predetermined length and is mixed into the concrete compound comprising a first and second concrete curing layer. The waterproof sheet is attached to one side of the second curing layer by the second adhesive material. |
