The present invention relates to an overlapping splicing device for a cord band which comprises: a first transport unit; a second transport unit for ejecting a spliced cord band strip; and a splicing unit including a perpendicularly movable splice strip, overlaps a preceding edge of a transported cord band strip on a following edge of the ejected cord band and splices the preceding edge. The splicing unit (14) includes splicing strip segments (16a, 16b, 16c, 16d) for fixing an edge (45) and multiple splicing segments (15a, 15b, 15c, 15d) arranged in a row. The splicing segments (15a, 15b, 15c, 15d) are able to be relatively rotated and are able to be changed in positions by a control element (26). |
