The present invention provides a friction material composition with reduced noise characteristics and improved abrasion resistance, crack resistance, and pedalling sensation, a friction material using the same, and a friction member. Moreover, the present invention relates to a friction material composition, a friction material using the same, and a friction member, wherein the friction material composition includes a binder, an inorganic filler, and a textile base material. The friction material composition contains two or more kinds of phenol resins with different heat resistant temperatures as a binder, wherein at least one kind of phenol resin among the phenol resins is a elastomer dispersion phenol resin, contains graphite with a particle size of 90 micrometers or less as an inorganic filler, and substantially does not contain graphite with a particle size of larger than 90 micrometers. |
