PURPOSE: A method for providing location based services by using information of direction, A server and A portable terminal thereof are provided to supply object information to a user by rapidly extracting direction angle estimation information of a potable terminal and object information corresponding to current position information. CONSTITUTION: A server control unit(230) calculates the current location information of a portable terminal, and extracts the information including the directional information which coincides with the directional estimation information generated from image information of a building which exists in a preset radius based on the calculated current position information. The control unit extracts object information matched with the image information received from a portable terminal. The server control unit transmits the extracted object information to the portable terminal. |
