PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a server unit capable of solving competitions among various processing even when a processing other than DLNA processing is included.SOLUTION: The server unit includes: a processing section that performs various kinds of processing; a receiving section that receives a first processing request from the processing section and a piece of information on the type of the first processing; and an acquisition section that acquires a piece of information on the type of second processing executed by the processing section; and a processing determination section that determines whether the first processing should be executed or the second processing should be executed based on the priority of the first processing type and the second processing type.
