<p>Safety device of a railway switch comprising a kinematic chain (3) in turn comprising and connecting at least: i) means (20) for grasping a first movable tongue of the switch; ii) a load limiting device (4) that can take on an operating configuration and a switch (1) splitting completed configuration; in the event of splitting of the switch said load limiting device (4) defining the irreversible and preset breaking zone of said kinematic chain (3) and moving from the operating configuration to the splitting completed configuration; said load limiting device (4) comprising: -an actuator (31) that is movable from a rest position to a first splitting position following splitting stress, said rest position being able to be reached in said operating configuration, said first splitting position being able to be reached by the actuator (31) in the splitting completed configuration; -a first abutment (32) of said actuator (31) that opposes the movement of the actuator (31) from the rest position to the first splitting position; said first abutment (32) being yielding and until it yields, breaking, it is not disengageable and remains operationally coupled with the actuator (31).</p> |
