An intraocular device is disclosed that comprises a device component and a flexible portion. The device component comprises a housing having an electrical feedthrough that is fluid impermeable. The device component further comprises an electrode that has a plurality of electrically conductive elements comprising a diamond material. The flexible portion is arranged to locate the device component at or within biological tissue and to distribute forces between the device component and the biological tissue along at least a portion of the biological tissue.
