PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing device capable of performing inclination adjustment of a document holding member including adjustment of a gap in an image reading unit, without changing an equalization amount of a hinge member.SOLUTION: An opening/closing device 3 has a document holding member 4 supported in a freely openable/closable and elavatable manner by an image reading device 2 having a document platen 41, and includes: an attachment part 52b that is fixed to the document holding member 4; a hinge receiving member 51 that is elevatably supported by the image reading device 2, and elevatably supports a slide part 52a; and a hinge height adjustment mechanism 53 that changes a height position of the hinge receiving member 51 relative to the image reading device 2. |
