<p>The rear edge of a lateral plate of an engine cover has a first rear edge and a second rear edge positioned above the first rear edge. The lateral plate has a first flat section including the first rear edge, and a second flat section including the second rear edge. The lateral plate forms a curved shape between the first flat section and the second flat section. The ridge between the first flat section and the second flat section is positioned so as extend from the top edge of the lateral plate to the rear edge thereof. The lateral plate includes an attachment part to be attached to a vehicle frame. The attachment part is positioned in the first flat section near the intersection between the ridge and the rear edge of the lateral plate.</p>
