PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an air conditioner enabling heat generated by a reactor to be used by a refrigerant circuit.SOLUTION: An air conditioner includes: a compressor 3 compressing a refrigerant; an electric circuit box 2 boosting voltage of power input from an AC power supply 10, and supplying the boosted power to the compressor 3; and a refrigerant circuit in which the compressor 3, a heat exchanger 4 and an expansion valve 9 of an outdoor unit 1, and a heat exchanger 12 of an indoor unit 11 are connected to one another by refrigerant pipes 6-1 to 6-6, thereby forming a channel through which a refrigerant flows. The electric circuit box 2 includes a reactor 7 serving as a constituent component of a circuit that boosts the voltage of the power input from the AC power supply 10, and the reactor 7 is arranged to be in close contact with the refrigerant pipe 6-1 connected to a discharge portion 3a from which the refrigerant compressed by the compressor 3 is discharged. |
