The purpose of the present invention is to provide a patient management system using a mobile application, which is capable of efficiently managing patients from the point of view of the doctor. The patient management system comprises: a medical information system which is built to electronically record the content of medical treatment using an electronic medical record (EMR) and connected through a network to each of office terminals in a hospital; a mobile device for a patient which receives, from the medical information system, application address information for the patient prescribed by a doctor; an application supply server which supplies various applications for patients mountable to the mobile device and capable of enabling the patients to manage their own health; and an application management server which provides the application supply server with the applications for patients developed for the patients, and primarily collects log data generated according to the activation of an application for a patient installed to the mobile device and transmits the collected log data to the medical information system of the hospital. According to the present invention, the application for the patient can be installed to the mobile device and the log data generated whenever the patient activates the application can be stored in a reference unit of the medical information system to enable the doctor (nurse, pharmacist) to access the reference unit through the office terminal to read the log data according to the activation of the application by the patient via the certification procedure, thereby easily observing the movement of the patient.
