PURPOSE: A multi-level transmission network management apparatus and network management method using the same are provided to syntagmatically manage a network management structure which is independently operated according to each network layer by including an apparatus control interface. CONSTITUTION: An integrated path management unit(202) establishes an end-to-end path arranged at multiple layers. A path calculation unit(203) calculates optimal end-to-end paths. An upper layer path management unit(204) provides routing information and a network topology of an upper layer to the path calculation unit. A lower layer path management unit(205) provides the network topology and the routing information which are located in the lower layer of multiple layers to the path calculation unit. A traffic transfer quality monitoring unit(206) monitors the established paths. An apparatus control interface unit(207) provides an apparatus control protocol. |
