PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evacuation structure which has excellent durability against an earthquake causing an occurrence of a tsunami and enables evacuation to be efficiently and accurately conducted on the occurrence of the tsunami.SOLUTION: An evacuation structure 100 comprises: an embankment 10 with a surface 11 thereof covered by an impervious material 12; a shaft 20 which has an upper edge 22 configured to be a watertight hatch 21 exposed on an upper section 13 of the embankment 10 and downwardly extends inside the embankment 10 with an evacuation route 24 in a hollow center 23 of the shaft 20; and a basement room 30 which is connected to a lower edge 25 of the shaft 20 through a flexible member and is communicated with the evacuation route 24 in the hollow center 23 of the shaft.
