PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily make a carried torch correspond with a start point of weld or cutting, when placing a traveling carriage on a steel plate.SOLUTION: A traveling carriage A has a torch B for welding or cutting a steel plate, and a magnet 11 for attracting the steel plate, and can travel while attracting the steel plate by the magnet 11. The traveling carriage A includes: a drive motor 27 for making the traveling carriage A travel; minute speed switches 9, 10 provided so as to be corresponding to a direction in which the traveling carriage A is to travel; and a control part 25 for, when electric power is turned on, the drive motor is in a non-rotating state, and the minute speed switch 9 or 10 is operated, controlling the drive motor 27 so as to make the traveling carriage travel at lower speed than welding speed or cutting speed beforehand set in the corresponding direction. The minute speed switches are composed of push button switches 12, 13 serving as limit switches, provided at both ends in a traveling direction of the traveling carriage A respectively. |
