This invention relates to new peptides activating extracellular matrix protein synthesis in the skin. This invention also relates to a cosmetic composition comprising such peptides as an active agent and the use of such a composition for increasing the extracellular matrix protein expression, delaying the appearance of or reducing wrinkles, sagging and loss of skin volume, and dehydration of the skin. The invention finally relates to cosmetic care methods intended to delay or treat cutaneous signs of aging and photoaging.
