PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably detect the occurrence of spark to improve inspection accuracy.SOLUTION: An insulation inspection device of a printed wiring board applies DC voltage between circuit patterns C1 to C4 of a printed wiring board 1, and determines whether or not an insulation state of the printed wiring board is good, based on an ohmic value between the circuit patterns calculated from the applied voltage value and a value of current flowing between the circuit patterns. The insulation inspection device comprises: a current detection part 7 for detecting current flowing between the circuit patterns by application of voltage; a current increase detection part 9 for detecting whether or not a value of current caused by a spark generated between the circuit patterns and detected by the current detection part 7 increases equal to or more than a predetermined value, within a spark detection time from voltage application start to a time point until which specified time elapses from voltage rise completion time as a start point; a spark determination part 25 for determining that the printed wiring board is defective if a current increase is detected by the current increase detection part; and a spark detection time setting part 10 capable of changing the specified time. |
