PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication control device capable of causing an information processing device to perform maintenance processing regardless of an operation state of the information processing device, a data maintenance system, a communication control method, and a program.SOLUTION: A communication control device 4 capable of accessing an information processing device 2 in which data is stored comprises: an operation state acquisition unit 46 for acquiring an operation state of the information processing device 2; and an interface unit 41 for, when the operation state is a start state, notifying the information processing device 2 of a maintenance instruction for causing the information processing device 2 to perform maintenance processing of data and, when the operation state is a stand-by, hibernation, or shut-down state, notifying the information processing device 2 of a start instruction for starting up the information processing device 2 and the maintenance instruction for causing the information processing device 2 to perform the maintenance processing of data. |
