PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hook-and-loop fastener with an ear, which is free from interference in uniform coloring in dying operation and which hardly has engaging element flocks of different colors on the front and reverse faces of the hook-and-loop fastener.SOLUTION: A hook-and-loop fastener is formed of a fabric composed of the warp, the weft and engaging element yarn, is formed of engaging elements that rise from the fabric surface, and is also dyed. The hook-and-loop fastener with an ear is such that 1) the warp, the weft and the yarn for engaging elements 6 are all made of polyester based fabric, 2) the weft contains core-sheath type heat-sealing fabric with the sheath component as heat-sealing component while the yarn for engaging elements 6 are fixed by fusion of the heat-sealing fabric, 3) in the end of at least one part of the hook-and-loop fastener, the engaging elements 6 existing therein are cut near the root, with the engaging elements 6 removed, and with the ear formed, and 4) the fastener has the ear in which color density is substantially the same in the center and in the periphery of the cross section in the stump of the cut trace of the engaging elements 6 existing in the ear. |
