The present invention relates to an automatic measuring method of a working place, and, more specifically, to an automatic measuring method which comprises: a step for installing a settling displacement sensor, an axial force sensor, a stress sensor and an underground displacement sensor at each unit area; a step for placing a measuring means that is portable and equipped with an independent power supply and which calculates, stores and displays the signals transmitted at a fixed time unit from the settling displacement sensor, the axial force sensor, the stress sensor and the underground displacement sensor; a step for setting set areas where a unit area located around the rear part of a working place is set up as a preceding area, a unit areas from the rear side of the preceding area to a set position for a tunnel as a criterion is set up as a progress area after a fixed period is passed after the working place is excavated, and a unit area located rearward of the set position is set up as a stable area, wherein the set position is changed as the tunnel is driven by excavating the working place; a signal receiving step for receiving signals from each setup area wherein the signals are received from each sensor of the preceding area, the progress area, and a stable area and the intervals for receiving the signal become increased from the preceding area toward the stable area; and an information gathering step for storing the signals transmitted from each sensor located in the preceding, progress and stable areas by using the measuring unit and the calculated values for calculating the corresponding signals in every sensor.
