PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for cable connection which enables users to visually check if a flat cable is inserted in a complete state, facilitates manufacturing and attachment of auxiliary metal fittings for connector attachment, and also allows the flat cable to be connected reliably, despite a simple structure. SOLUTION: A connector for cable connection comprises: a terminal which is attached on a housing and has a contact part electrically connected to a conductive wire of a flat cable; an actuator including a main body which is capable of changing postures between a first position and a second position, and becomes substantially parallel to an insertion direction of the flat cable when it is at the second position, and abutment parts which are formed on both sides of the main body; and flat auxiliary metal fittings for connector attachment which is attached on both sides of the housing.
