PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infrared-shielding film for a multilayer filter for a plasma display panel having low haze while maintaining high visible light transmittance and near-infrared absorbency and a coating liquid for forming the infrared-shielding film and the like used for production of the same. SOLUTION: The coating liquid for forming the infrared-shielding film includes fine particles of infrared-shielding material composed of fine particles of tungsten oxide represented by general formula, WyOz and/or fine particles of composite tungsten oxide represented by general formula, MxWyOz, a typical metal compound, such as zinc carbonate, and an uncured acrylic self-adhesive resin of hydroxy group type in a solvent. The infrared-shielding film is obtained by performing an aging process of a coating film formed from the coating liquid for forming the infrared-shielding film. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
