<p>Wood flake board may be made from 100% waste, scrap or recycled wood products from a variety of sources. The raw material is flaked or stranded to a thickness in the range 0.2 1.2mm and a width in the range 10 50mm. The wood flakes may be spayed with a resin bonding agent such as urea formaldehyde and the resultant mix passes between rollers where it is rolled to a set thickness dependent upon final use. The board stock may then be cured typically at a pressure of 350 psi (24 bar) and a temperature of 150 degrees Celsius under a hot press. The finished board stock may be suitable for use in a range of construction / building uses.</p> |
