The operating method for a motor-driven hand press tool allows the jaws (6) to be held open in a position intermediate between the starting and press positions. This is carried out automatically by measuring parameters related to motion of the piston (5), time or pressure parameters and holding the jaws open when they reach desired values. An independent claim is included for hand press tools for use in the method. |
