The present invention relates to an electronic handcuffs apparatus for informing of the escape of a suspect, which remotely senses a case where a suspect pulls out the hands from electronic handcuffs or tries to escape with wearing the electronic handcuffs and displays the situation accordingly. The electronic handcuffs apparatus comprises: an electronic handcuffs device (1) having a wireless communication unit (11) which has a unique address and is placed for wireless communications, an electronic handcuffs control unit (14) which controls the "locking/unlocking" of an electronic key (20) and transmits the "locking/unlocking" state of the electronic key (20) through the wireless communication unit (11), and a battery which supplies power to the electronic handcuffs control unit (14); and an electronic handcuffs monitoring device (2) having a wireless communication unit (23) which has a unique address and is placed for wireless communications by being interlocked with the wireless communication unit (11), and an input and output control unit (22) which analyzes the receiving sensitivity during wireless communications with the electronic handcuffs device (1) by being interlocked with the electronic handcuffs device (1) in order to determine the escape of the suspect, and operates a buzzer or a lamp during the escape of the suspect.
