A brush for a vacuum cleaner is provided to improve cleaning efficiency and prevent malfunction of a brush member by precluding dirt from flowing into a rotation supporting unit. A brush for a vacuum cleaner comprises a brush member(30), a rotation supporting unit(40), and a blocking unit(50). The brush member is installed at a main body(10) to face a surface to be cleaned. The rotation supporting unit supports two ends of the brush member to be rotated in the main body. The blocking unit blocks the introduction of debris into the rotation supporting unit, and includes plural blocking projections corresponding to the main body and the brush member near the rotation supporting unit. The blocking projections consist of at least one first blocking projection(51), and at least one second blocking projection(52). The first blocking projections are protruded along the two outer peripheries of the brush member. The second blocking projections are protruded on the main body corresponding to the first blocking projection. |
