<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an embossed carrier tape facilitating storage of a component to a component storage part and capable of stabilizing a storage condition of the component in the component storage part, and to provide a method of manufacturing the same and a packaging component winding body. <P>SOLUTION: In the embossed carrier tape 1, the component storage part 10 in a recessed shape opened on one surface of a long resin base material sheet 2 swells on the other surface of the base material sheet 2. On the other surface of the base material sheet 2, a pair of first groove parts 20 are formed with any component storage part 10 interposed therebetween in the outer peripheral edge 11 of the component storage part 10.
