Sealing arrangement (1) comprises a plate comprising at least one step-shaped bead (3) and at least one profiled sealing element. The bead comprises at least one counter bead (4), which is lying within the bead, with a counter bead base (5) and at least one counter bead flank. The profiled sealing element (7) is positioned with at least one sealing lip on the counter bead base so that the projection of a vertex point of the sealing lip lies perpendicular to the counter bead base optionally non adjacent to the center (9) of the counter bead base. Sealing arrangement (1) comprises a plate comprising at least one step-shaped bead (3) and at least one profiled sealing element. The bead comprises at least one counter bead (4), which is lying within the bead, with a counter bead base (5) and at least one counter bead flank. The profiled sealing element (7) is positioned with at least one sealing lip on the counter bead base so that the projection of a vertex point of the sealing lip lies perpendicular to the counter bead base optionally non adjacent to the center (9) of the counter bead base. The sealing lip at the vertex point exhibits a radius of curvature in the unpressed condition of less than 1 mm, preferably 0.15-0.4 mm. An independent claim is also included for producing the sealing arrangement, comprising (a) providing the plate and the profiled sealing element, and (b) joining the plate and the profiled sealing element with positioning of the sealing element on the plate.
