Herein provided is a medicine distributing system with improved accuracy and efficiency of medicine distribution to an individual distributing cassette. A medicine distributing system includes a cassette placement portion (36) for temporary placement of an individual distributing cassette (6) including a large number of cells (8), a medicine container placement portion (34) for temporary placement of a container (2) for medicines (4), a medicine transporting device (45) configured to put the medicines (4) into the cells (8), and a distribution control device (19) configured to acquire individual medicine distribution information to control an operation of the medicine transporting device (45). The medicine distributing system additionally includes a carrier placement portion (31) for temporary placement of a medicine container carrier (20) capable of housing medicine containers (2) in a vertical column, and a medicine container transporting device (30) configured to transport the medicine containers (2) from the carrier placement portion (31) to the medicine container placement portion (34). Further, the medicine container carrier (20) incorporates a lock mechanism (25) configured to be unlocked when placed in the carrier placement portion (31). The medicine distributing system also includes a cleaning device (50) capable of cleaning medicine holding members (41) that are not mounted to the medicine transporting device (45). |
