Various methods for application costing to provide decision making for service provisioning are provided. One example method may comprise connecting to a web based portal environment system. The method may further comprise establishing a hypertext transfer protocol keep-alive connection with the web based portal environment system. The method may further comprise receiving a push command via the hypertext transfer protocol keep-alive connection. The method may additionally comprise executing the push command.
