<p>A combustible propellant charge case for barrel-projected munitions is such that (A) the case contains an erosion-reducing additive (4) forming 2-15 wt.% of the case; (B) additive (4) is either polyacetylene or a mixture of tungsten trioxide or molybdenum trioxide and cerium dioxide, lanthanum oxide (La2O3) or yttrium oxide (Y2O3); (C) the maximum size of particles (3) of additive (4) is 30 mu ; and (D) the specific surface area of additive (4) is >=2 m2>/g.</p> |
