The present invention relates to a surface protection film for a polarization plate and more specifically, to a surface protection film for a polarization plate comprising a base film having one surface containing a hydrophilic silicon based compound and a coating agent layer which is laminated on the base film and has surface energy of 35 dyne/cm, thereby easily separating the surface protection film from a separation tape by having excellent adhesion and improving slip in the contact surface between the laminations to which the surface protection film is applied.
