PURPOSE: An injection device of a fuel injection pump is provided to prevent sudden pressure drop because the control edge and spill port of a plunger are opened to create a minute flow before pressure is released. CONSTITUTION: An injection device of a fuel injection pump comprises a plunger(100) and a barrel(200). The plunger is formed with a release groove(102) connected to a plunger chamber(202) and a control edge connected to the release groove. The barrel is formed with a spill port(206) which connects the plunger chamber and an oil inlet/outlet chamber and discharges the pressure by the contact with the control edge. The spill port comprises an inlet/outlet part, an expanded part, and an extended part. |
