The present invention relates to a front side member for a vehicle. The front side of the front side member includes a high intensity area and a low intensity area of which the intensities are different from each other. The high and low intensity areas are arranged on the front side of the front side member in order. The back side of the front side member may be a high intensity area. Also, the manufacturing method of a front side member comprises the following steps: heating materials; inserting the heated materials into a mold; pre-quenching, cooling and molding, the materials by making the same touch the mold; air cooling the materials for high intensity area to maintain the touch with the mold and air cooling the materials for low intensity area not to touch the mold; and post-quenching the materials for touching the mold and cooling the materials.
