Electrochemical treatment - for removal of fins and blunting sharp corners of electrically conducting articles

The articles to be treated are immersed in electrolyte contained in a rotating drum together with abrasive material. The drum has two pairs of electrodes of different polarities which form the closed electric circuit and are placed on the sides of the drum forming part of the side walls. This arrangement gives an improved yield compared with conventional appts. and reduced energy consumption.
