摘要 <p>A method for measuring the efficiency of an optical element is disclosed. By the optical element efficiency measuring method, the strength of light emitted from an optical element is measured by applying an excitation current to the optical element, relative light emission efficiency is calculated from a ratio of the strength of the light emission about the excitation current, maximum relative light emission efficiency and a maximum excitation current corresponding to the maximum light emission efficiency are obtained, a reference excitation current is extracted to minimize the change quantity of a recombination coefficient in an active layer of the optical element about a carrier density change in the active layer of the optical element from data of an excitation current below the maximum excitation current and data of relative light emission efficiency below the maximum relative light emission efficiency, reference internal quantum efficiency of the optical element is calculated from the reference excitation current, and internal quantum efficiency of the optical element in various excitation currents is calculated from the reference internal quantum efficiency.</p>
