A device and a method for remotely transmitting the usage of an electronic gas meter are disclosed. The device for remotely transmitting the usage of an electronic gas meter according to the present invention accurately measures a flow rate, reduces power consumption, and remotely checks a gas usage using a cover member which covers an impeller unit on one side of an upper case, which has a guide groove, and which is hermetically joined to the upper case; and an outer cover which has a counter part for counting the number of revolutions of the impeller unit and a remote interface part for transmitting a gas amount accumulated in the counter part to the outside inside and of which the outside is hermetically joined to the outer circumference of the cover member.
