摘要 |
The present invention relates to a rudder of a ship and to a rudder of a ship installed at the rear of a propeller for navigating the ship, comprising: an upper rudder having a leading edge biased in a direction opposite to a rotational direction of an upper part of the propeller; a lower rudder coupled to a lower end of the upper rudder and having a leading edge biased in a direction opposite to a rotational direction of a lower part of the propeller; and a transition part connecting the upper rudder and the lower rudder to each other. One among the leading edges of the upper rudder and the lower rudder is formed in an up and down vertical direction and the further the other is apart from the center of a propeller shaft, the more it is tilted in a port or a starboard direction. The transition part connects a lower end of the leading edge of the upper rudder to an upper end of the leading edge of the lower rudder along a curve, thereby smoothly connecting the leading edge of the upper rudder to the leading edge of the lower rudder without being bent. The rudder for the ship according to the present invention is separated into the upper rudder and the lower rudder, vertically forms the leading edge of the upper rudder, biases the leading edge of the upper rudder toward a port side, tilts the leading edge of the lower rudder and biases the leading edge of the lower rudder, thereby drastically saving energy consumption and preventing a cavity phenomenon using a lifting force as a thrust force. |
